Who is the Data Controller of your data?

The Data Controller of the data collected through this site is URBINATI S.R.L., with registered office in San Mauro Pascoli (FC), Via della Liberazione, 18 VAT NUMBER 02572960405 (hereinafter also referred to as the “Data Controller“).

Why do we process your data and when do we collect it?

Browsing Data

While browsing our website, we collect some personal data from users, such as the IP address of the PC, or the domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

Service-Related Data

On our website there is also a “contact us” area that you can use to ask us for information: if you decide to write to us, we will also process your personal data and contact details (name, surname, telephone number, email address). In addition, through our website you will be able to download our catalogue and in these cases we will process your name, surname and email address, address, city, country, etc. Simultaneously with the collection of data for the above purposes, you will be entered in our mailing list for the sending of commercial communications (the processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, with the guarantees provided for by art. 130, para. 4 of the Privacy Code).

If you want to apply to work with us, you can fill out the form and/or upload your CV and send it to our recruiters in the appropriate section: in this case we will only process the data required for the evaluation of the application.

What does the law allow us to do?

The European Regulation EU 2016/679 (GDPR) allows us to process the various types of data we have highlighted above for the following purposes:

Browsing Data

We need them for statistical purposes, to improve our website, to protect the security of users’ browsing. These data does not allow your identification. We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest and that of the user (art. 6 lett. f) GDPR).

Browsing Data (cookies)

We also collect data for the purposes of analysis and processing of information relating to the users, their preferences, habits, consumption choices and/or browsing experiences. This activity is carried out by using technologies such as cookies (own or third-party). Cookie data collection will be carried out under your express consent (article 6 letter a) GDPR). Data relating to the contact form (Service-Related Data)

We process your contact data such as name, surname, phone number, email, etc. in order to process your contact request. The GDPR allows us to process this data without your consent because it is used to fulfil pre-contractual conditions (art. 6 lett. b) GDPR). You are free not to provide us with the data but you will not be able to send us any request for a quote.

CATALOGUE DOWNLOAD

(Service related data)

Data collection for sending the product catalogue. In this case, we process your data in order to process the request to send the information material (art. 6, lett. B). Therefore, we are fulfilling pre-contractual conditions. 

MARKETING

(Service related data)

We process your personal data without your consent (art. 6, lett. f) in order to send you promotions and offers or information material by e-mail and for products similar to those you have shown interest in or purchased. At any time you can exercise your right to opt-out by writing an email to marketing@urbinati.cloud and therefore cease receiving communications from us. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, with the guarantees provided for under art. 130, para. 4 of the Privacy code.

APPLICATION

(Service related data)

We process the data that you consider appropriate to send us to apply to work with us, such as, without a doubt, those related to your training and professional background; in addition, we may also recipients of your most confidential data (e.g. being part of protected categories, ethnic origin). The GDPR allows us to process these data without your consent because they are used to fulfil pre-contractual conditions (art. 6 lett. b) GDPR) and to evaluate your work eligibility (art. 9 lett. b) GDPR)

How do we process your data?

Your data will be processed using tools and procedures suitable to guarantee the security and confidentiality thereof. This can be carried out both through our website and through other electronic tools (for example internal management systems) and sometimes also using paper media. Besides the Data Controller, in some cases, other parties involved in the organisation of this Website (administrative staff, sales staff, system administrators, etc.) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) appointed – where provided for by the law – as Data Processors by us may have access to the data. How long do we store your data?

Browsing Data: the data collected by the website when running are stored for the time strictly required to carry out the specified activities. Upon expiry, the data will be deleted or anonymised, unless there are further purposes for storing them. The Data Controller has no control over cookies entirely managed by third parties and does not have access to the information collected through these cookies. Service-Related Data:

  • Data relating to the contact form/catalogue download: the data will be kept for the time strictly required to process the request made;
  • Marketing-related data: the data will be stored for 36 months from the last interaction or in any case until the withdrawal of consent (opt-out) and/or request for deletion by you;
  • Data relating to job application: The data will be stored for two years from the submission of the application.

Where is your data?

We process your personal data relating to the Service within Europe. We have chosen partners who allow us to keep the data within the European Union, in compliance with the requirements of the Regulation. Your Browsing Data (IP address), on the other hand, by installing cookies (for further information on cookies read our cookie policy, may be transferred outside the European Union, and in particular to the United States (by way of non-limiting example, Google) with the appropriate guarantee conditions.

Who accesses your data?

Your data may be made accessible to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller in their capacity as data processors and/or system administrators and/or other parties (by way of example: professional firms, consultants, software houses that provide the management systems, etc.) who carry out outsourcing activities on behalf of the Data Controller, in their capacity as external data processors.

The Data Controller may communicate your data to the Public Administration, Supervisory Bodies and/or Judicial Authorities as well as to all other parties to whom the communication is mandatory or required by the law. Your data will not be disclosed.

What are your rights?

As a data interested party, you have the right to obtain, in the cases provided for, access to your personal data and the correction or deletion of the same or the limitation of the processing that concerns them or to oppose the processing (to be informed on all your rights, you may refer to the Regulation in articles 15 et seq.). Right to complaint

The possibility of lodging a complaint with the remains unaffected, as provided for by art. 77 of the GDPR, or take appropriate legal action, pursuant to art. 79 of the Regulation, should you believe that the processing of your data breaches the GDPR.

Protection of the privacy of minors

This website is intended for a general audience, however its services are intended for persons aged 18 and above. We do not solicit, collect, use or disclose personal data provided by persons under the age of 18 online. Should we detect that we have personally collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
