Increase support for India’s agricultural policy through the dissemination of technological innovations by Emilia-Romagna companies in the fruit and vegetable sector, encouraging the establishment of business and investment partnerships with local counterparties operating in the agricultural machinery sector.
It is the goal of the project “Agricultural mechanization for India: solutions and technologies for a modern fruit and vegetable growing” of Unioncamere and Chambers of Commerce Emilia-Romagna supported by the Region and managed by PROMEC special company of the Chamber of Commerce of Modena.
The project has brought to India a delegation on behalf of seven companies: three present, one represents from the distributor and three from the CERMAC Consortium led by the president Enrico Turoni. Between the 7 participating enterprises two are of Forlì, the “URBINATI” and clearly the “Turoni”.
The delegation also participated in a round table organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in India on the theme of pre- and post-harvest activities to understand how appropriate the Indian market are the technologies of Italian companies and what may be the potential collaborations to be put in place.
