With the first revolutionary automatic seeder
begin the history of the URBINATI industrial group.

1993

URBINATI opens to foreign markets:
new partnerships are born and its machines
they begin to spread throughout Europe.

1998

The handicraft company URBINATI becomes
a corporate Group: the factory is expanded
and increases production.

2006

URBINATI s.r.l. becomes a reference point
for the sector of horti-floroculture: it’s present
in over 60 Countries in the World.

2009

Born URBINATI ACADEMY project: technical updating
on the main topics of the sector with international experts
and Universities’ professors of Bologna and Turin.

2011

URBINATI FRANCE opens: the presence
of the company abroad is realized in France
with the opening in Miré of a reference location.

2015/16

URBINATI renews, and once again expands,
his work spaces, in the continuous search
to improvement its production efficiency.

2021

Urbinati Srl is present with its solutions
in over 100 countries worldwide.

2023

New shareholding structure led by the Merloni Group, a long standing italian family of industrial entrepreneurs, as majority shareholder and strategic investor, supporting the expansion into new markets and the enhancement of Urbinati’s solutions portfolio. Appointment of Giulia Cristofori as CEO in line with the forthcoming managerialisation of the leadership team. Romina Urbinati, minority shareholder, is appointed Non Executive Chairman of the Board.
