BI-REX Call

Technological Innovation Project Co-Financed by BI-REX and PNRR

Urbinati Srl is a beneficiary of the 5th BI-REX Call (2025) for the development of a technological innovation project.

The project is co-financed by the Next Generation EU Program (PNRR – National Recovery and Resilience Plan) with the support of the BI-REX Competence Center and the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).

PLANT-OPTIMA

The goal of the PLANT-OPTIMA project is to develop AI-based solutions for transplanting and irrigation processes in nurseries.

The project aims to introduce advanced technologies for greenhouses and nurseries, based on vision systems, robotics, and data processing.

It involves the development of automated transplanting solutions and integrated irrigation systems with artificial intelligence monitoring.

The objective is to optimize the use of resources such as water, energy, and labor, while improving quality and productivity. The project will reduce operating costs, increase competitiveness, and promote environmental sustainability, with positive impacts across the entire production chain.
